We are looking for enthusiastic and organised administrators to join the Research and Enterprise Department. There are four positions available:

1. Research Administrator (reference EL1128)

You will be part of the Researcher Development team, working to facilitate and deliver the team&rsquo;s provision of development activity and support for academic colleagues, early career researchers and postgraduate researchers, as well as other institutional activity in support of the Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers. The post will support activity delivered by the Doctoral School and the Lincoln Institute for Advanced Studies (LIAS).

2. Research Support Administrator (reference EL1157)

You will be part of the Research Data and Systems Team, working to facilitate and deliver the team&rsquo;s provision of research support activities in relation to the University&rsquo;s Research &amp; Knowledge Exchange strategy. This will include close working with both academic and professional services colleagues as well as members of the wider Research &amp; Enterprise team. The post will support activity relating to research data, systems and in particular the University&rsquo;s preparations for its REF2028 submission. The post holder is also expected to use their judgement to deal with queries and problems daily and work closely with a range of research focused roles across the institution.

3. Contracts Administrator (reference EL1146)

The University handles a variety of research and knowledge exchange related agreements and queries. &nbsp;Working closely with the team, the Contracts Administrator will support this contracting function by providing efficient and accurate administrative support, which will encompass the triaging of enquiries, mailbox and data management, communication with internal and external partners, record keeping and scheduling of meetings and tasks. &nbsp;This role does not require any previous legal experience.

4. Commercial Partnerships Administrator (reference EL1222)

Supporting the business development and knowledge exchange activities undertaken by the team, the Commercial Partnerships Administrator role will support commercial bidding activity (e.g. Tender submissions) and active commercial projects (e.g. Knowledge Exchange Partnerships) along with the provision of administrative support for general enquiries, communication with internal and external partners, record keeping and scheduling of meetings and tasks.

For all of these roles, you will need to be able to use your initiative and have excellent communication skills, as well as being able to thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Working alongside the Senior College Research Officer and Research Development Officers, this position is an integral part of the Research &amp; Industrial Partnerships Team (RIPT), providing the first point of contact for the College of Arts, Social Sciences &amp; Humanities and the College of Health &amp; Science. The role will contribute to the University&rsquo;s wider research goals, through identification of potential funding sources, support for the preparation and submission of external funding applications, stakeholder engagement, and researcher development.

Considerable interaction with academic colleagues and research support staff in all Colleges, Centres and Institutes is required in order to develop effective networks and a flexible support service that responds to the fluctuating nature of funding calls. The position will integrate effectively with College-level support, agreeing the most effective model of partnership working to suit each area. This will raise the profile and the level of engagement of the service with staff whilst maintaining a flexible team that will come together every week to work on cross-College activities.

College Research Officer

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and organised Impact Coordinator to join the Research, Impact and Culture Team to support the development of high-quality research impact across the university. The post will be based in Research and Enterprise and the successful candidate will be a member of a dynamic team working in a fast-changing environment to tight deadlines.

The role will require demonstrable knowledge of research impact development and culture. The successful candidate will need to have a proven track record of managing a team along with project management experience as well as strong organisational and prioritisation skills. They will also need to be able to demonstrate a high level of initiative and independent working, have excellent communication skills alongside a proactive and flexible approach to their work in order to assist in the changing demands placed upon the team.&nbsp;

We are looking for someone who will deliver a high-quality customer-focused service in a professional and proactive way, whilst also making an active and positive contribution to the Research and Enterprise department.
