HR & Payroll Assistant
30 hours per week, term time only +10 days (40 weeks)
Starting Salary: £22,737 FTE (Grade 3, SCP 6)

What we need:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, efficient, and self-motivated individual to join our Finance and HR team. This role for the Academy is to provide support for the HR and payroll functions, working alongside the HR Manager and Business Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the smooth running of the day to day HR procedures as well as the administration of payroll and pension for a team of approximately 160 staff. Support of the financial function could be required from time to time.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a busy office environment. Ideally, you will also have experience of HR and payroll procedures and computerised systems associated with these tasks. Previous experience of working in an educational setting and using a Management Information System will also be an advantage. In addition, you will also have a good attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to work as part of a team as well as under their own direction.

Do you have:
- Minimum of GCSE English and Maths or equivalent qualification
- Good working knowledge of ICT
- Previous experience of working in a busy office environment
- Previous experience of HR and payroll procedures
- Ability to multi-task, and be flexible and resourceful
- A positive, ‘can do’ attitude
