Job Description
We are currently seeking a candidate with 3-6 years’ Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) as a solicitor, legal executive, or equivalent experience as a personal injury legal advisor. The role involves managing a busy caseload of personal injury cases, from taking new instructions through to trial or settlement of litigated cases.
Responsibilities
- Manage all client work allocated by the Head of Department.
- Ensure that all client work is progressed expeditiously and that the client is kept regularly informed on progress and costs.
- Exercise high standards of client care in a professional and pleasant manner.
- Achieve set performance targets.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all firm’s and client’s documentation and information.
- Maintain clear and precise communications with other personnel of the firm.
- Ensure good working relationships with external institutions and organizations.
- Participate in marketing events, seminars, and business development activities.
Experience Required
- Law Degree (or equivalent); LPC qualification; Legal Executive qualification.
- 3-6 years PQE as a solicitor or legal executive, or equivalent experience within a law firm.
- Proficiency in IT and case management skills, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Experience with case management systems is preferred.
- Professional demeanor at all times with clients and collaborators.
- Social confidence with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Hardworking and able to meet tight deadlines.
Location
Our offices are located in Lincoln, Newark, Sleaford, Grantham, and Boston. This role is predominantly based in our Lincoln office, with flexibility to work from home part-time after the successful completion of a probationary period.
