• Keeping the shop floor fully stocked and ready for customers through accepting and working deliveries and completing stock takes
• Delivering the technical aspects of the dispensary, allowing and ensuring the safe supply of medicines. This could be through ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, and supporting the collection of prescriptions
• Assisting with sales and general store duties including creating product displays and cash transactions
As a Relief Pharmacy Services Assistant, you will be responsible for covering absence and holidays in our pharmacies within the central Lincoln area and surrounding villages. You will be working within multiple teams across a number of our branches. This valuable role provides operational support and ensures that we provide the best patient and customer service. You'll be involved in a wide range of duties, such as:
• Contributing to the safe and effective running of the dispensary by dispensing medication accurately and efficiently.
•Delivering exceptional customer service, providing health advice and services to our patients through engaging conversations. Ensuring that every customer leaves the pharmacy feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs

Qualifications:

• An upbeat, caring, and confident manner when serving and advising patients
• An enthusiasm and talent for problem solving, eager to take on new challenges and experiences
• A methodical and accurate approach to practical tasks, using your own initiative and teamwork skills to aid you
• Experience of working in a retail background and using a stock control system would be desirable but not essential as full training is provided
• As travel will be required within this role, you will need to hold a valid UK Driving Licence and have access to a vehicle for business use
• An upbeat, caring, and confident manner when serving and advising patients

• A methodical and accurate approach to practical tasks, using your own initiative and teamwork skills to aid you

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has an NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant qualification or higher.
