Sir Robert Pattinson Academy is an 11 – 18 comprehensive school judged ‘Good’ by Ofsted as a result of the education and opportunities provided to pupils, enabling them to flourish within a calm and caring environment. Pupils are valued, happy, challenged and strive to achieve their best through a rich learning experience both inside and outside the classroom. 

We are seeking to appoint a part-time Deputy Designated Safeguarding Officer to assist the Designated Safeguarding Lead in taking lead responsibility for safeguarding and child protection across the Academy. They will take part in strategy discussions and inter-agency meetings and contribute to the assessment of children. They will advise and support other members of staff on child welfare and child protection matters and liaise with relevant agencies such as the local authority and police.

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic, flexible, positive, passionate and creative individual who has a proven record of supporting families with a variety of complex needs.
